There will be lots of ways for your student to get involved in Homecoming Week….from Spirit Week activities, to a Middle School Dance, Homecoming Game tailgate and football game and high school dance. Here is the information you need:
Spirit Week leading up to Homecoming is October 3-7 with lots of activity for students and opportunities for parent volunteers:
Monday = Snap Back (Hat) Day
Tuesday = College Gear/Sports Gear Day
Wednesday = Preppy Day
Thursday = Throwback Thursday
Friday = Blue & Gold Tiger Pride Day
Homecoming Football Game
Friday: Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., Central High School vs. Lincoln at Southeast Field; tailgate before game starting at 5:30 p.m. in Southeast Parking lot. The tailgate is FREE to students and families, but to make it successful for everyone we could use your help. Cohntact Ms. Doyle, email@example.com to donate soda/water, hamburger or hotdog buns, condiments, or to volunteer to help.
Homecoming Dance for High School
Dance Saturday, October 8, 8:00pm – 11:30 pm in the Gym. Advance tickets are $8; $10 at the door. Non-Lincoln students MUST be registered in the office to attend. Last date to register non-Lincoln student is Sept. 23. Last day to register for Homecoming Royalty is Friday, Sept. 23, in Room 302.
Lots of Ways to Help
There are a number of ways that you can either volunteer or donate or be involved in the fun.
#1 Make plans to come to the tailgate and to the football game — and cheer for Lincoln!
#2 Volunteer to help with either the middle school or high school dances.
#3 Make a donation or sign up to help for the tailgate. There are various things we need …
A truck(s) to transport food items and BBQs to the Southeast Field and back to Lincoln.
Hotdogs, hamburgers and buns
Condiments — Mustard, Relish and Catsup
Soda and water, coolers with ice
2-3 big folding tables
Help with grilling, serving, setup and cleanup;
