Lincoln SAC

What is SAC?

SAC is the School Advisory Committee, the parent involvement committee/organization for our school. SAC meets the second Thursday of each month. Every parent is welcome at Lincoln SAC meetings. It is your chance to meet other families, learn about educational changes and opportunities, and ask questions. It’s another important way you can be involved and have a voice in your child’s education.

Your elected SAC officers for the 2012-2013 school year are:
Pattie Mansur, Chair, 816-674-2745, or
Roderick Smith, Co-Chair, 816-898-4226, or
Abby Mueller, Treasurer, 816-305-6660,
Kim Sinclair, Secretary, 816-260-6751, or
Fred Hudgins, DAC Representative and KCMSD DAC Chair,
Chris Zaroor, Title I Representative,

Support SAC through the Activity Fund

The SAC has a $25.00 Student/School Activity Fund that provides our parent organization with resources to support fun and spirit-building activities at the school. We provide financial support for dances, Homecoming festivities, senior farewell events, clubs, staff appreciation and more. While many public schools in our region require Student Activity Fees, our effort is strictly voluntary! We’re seeking a modest contribution of $25.00. See the link for more information. If you have questions about the Fund, contact Abby Mueller, SAC Treasurer, at

Volunteer for Student & Staff Appreciation Activities

We try hard to get parents involved in activities that will support our students and create a positive climate for students and staff. You can help with graduation activities, as a parent helper on theProm Committee or with Staff Appreciation, which will occur the first week of May. If you are interested in helping with these fun, spirit-building activities, contact Sarah Barlow, School Climate Committee Chair, or contact Tamara Sykes,, or your SAC Chair, Pattie Mansur, We welcome your ideas and talents!

Can Johnson County elementary children can take the Lincoln entrance exam for sixth grade and then move into the District boundaries upon acceptance? If SAC cannot answer, can you please point me in the right direction as to who can provide an answer? Lincoln has an excellent reputation! Thank you so much!

    • Hello Joi: I believe your student(s) could take the test, but then would have to move into the district in order to attend. Please contact Marsha Streater, 418-3007, to confirm. And you are correct, Lincoln has an excellent reputation!
